Essential Functions

Flexible assignment to the following areas based on daily need. Associates must be willing to train and work in all of the following areas.
PARTS WASHER
o Responsible for setting up, operating and performing minor maintenance on the parts washing
machine.
o Adds chemicals and water to parts washer tanks as necessary to produce clean parts. Checks
solutions by Titration method.
SECONDARY OPERATIONS/MECTRON INSPECTION
o Set-up and operates Nut checking equipment.
o Set-up, adjust and operates all secondary machining equipment (lathes, burr bench, centerless
grind, facer).
PLATING
o Responsible for setting up and operating Rack and Barrel Plating lines.
o Must be able to sequence sizes and shapes of parts with respect to rectifier control to maintain
quality.
MATERIALS INVENTORY CONTROL
Responsible for accurately counting & identifying materials throughout the Materials area.
o Responsible for interfacing work between all departments and the handling and processing of
materials into and out of the area.
o Must be able to operate all equipment in the Materials area which includes PITs, scales, hoists,
etc.
o Must be able to interface with other departments to ensure proper receipt and disbursement of
materials.
o Primary focus will be in the areas of receipting, picking, and consolidation.
o Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy through locator and MMS systems.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
o Perform any other duties as assigned by the Department Manager or Leader.
o Is expected to abide by all plant safety policies and procedures.
o Accountable for process, evaluation, measurement, documentation and improvement on a
continuous basis.
o Participate in department and process team activities and projects.
o Requires the use of simple arithmetic.
o Must be able to count accurately.
o Must be able to use simple measuring instruments such as scale and caliper.
o PIT license.
o Good communication skills. A high degree of initiative and a work record which has
demonstrated good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
o Able to operate digital scale and hoist equipment.
o Able to do heavy lifting.
Must work overtime.
o Must be able to perform considerable physical effort work.

Qualifications

o Must communicate well and understand what it means to be a good teammate.
o All employees must follow all Safety Rules and Safety Policies.
o Employees will also follow additional assignments and instructions made by Leaders, Value
Stream Team Leaders, Value Stream Managers, and Managers
Previous similar experience desirable.
Must be high school graduate or equivalent.
Must be Unites States Citizen or Permanent Resident

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Profit Sharing Program Eligible at 1 year of servie
3rd shift (10:00pm-6:00am) includes a $0.60/hr shift premium.
