Customer Service/Dispatch Representative
Work Week is 6 Days On and 2 Days Off
2nd Shift (1 PM to 9 PM)

Job Description
Van Galder/Coach USA is looking for an individual who can provide high-quality customer service to our customers and drivers. Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, a Customer Service/Dispatch Representative assists the Operations team, schedules drivers, greets visitors, answers customers' questions, and other duties as described.

+ Agreeable to working weekends, holidays, and evenings

+ The schedule will operate on a 6 & 2 schedule. 6 Days on and 2 Days off

+ Willingness to fit into our office team, learn and adapt to changing business needs

+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. (Logs)

+ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

+ Willing to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays

+ Must be customer service oriented with the ability to deal with various personalities within and out of the organization

+ PC literate with current computer system experience

+ Able to learn software programs required to provide excellent customer service

+ Possess solid phone skills including proper etiquette

Daily functions would include:
Entering detailed charter information
Answering all inbound phone calls
Checking-in Drivers
Monitoring vehicles and Drivers
Timely and Accurate in data entry
Detailed and organized personality to manage many things simultaneously.
Great with numbers and basic math
Assist management with report completion
Required experience: customer service: 3 years
Preferred experience: dispatch: 1 year
Required education: High school or equivalent
